The B series covers the application of Liferay to deliver value-add solutions to practical business problems. MyOffice24x7 has implemented all the business applications in the B series courses so we know that it works. The question is - will you make it work for you?

These courses are on-demand courses, so we will schedule them when there is enough interest. The public courses are held in Melbourne, Australia.

Additional private courses can be scheduled at your location or at ours. We can adjust the scheduling of our public courses to suit attendees and add additional public courses depending on demand.

View Course Details Enterprise e-Forms Toolkit

Get rid of paper forms by using your intranet and the web to allow your staff and your customers to complete all your forms electronically. Then have those forms follow your appropriate business logic and processing as they progress from person to person and from system to system until fully processed, and archived or disposed of.

We have already done this for organisations. We have a set of over 150 standard forms that organisations can use and tailor, plus the Liferay toolkit to allow your organisation to implement enterprise-wide e-Forms.

This course centers on a case study for the implementation of e-Forms inside the study organisation – the business process planning, the implementation of the e-Forms, the training of users and the transition to all electronic forms over your intra/extranet.

If your organisation wants to save money and increase efficiency, then this course will show you how to do it.

View Course Details Talk to Everyone – Organising Collaboration

This course looks at how you can increase the effectiveness of communication and collaboration between the different groups within your project, within your department and within your organisation. We show you the tools which are available (wikis, blogs, message boards, forums, RSS feeds, navigation  facilities, etc) and we show you how those tools can be painlessly introduced into the user environment and the operating practices of your staff so that they are used and add value.

Most organisations also run a serious risk in the stability of their organisational knowledge base. You have experts with deep knowledge and experience. If they leave, you're left in a hole and have to pay for that knowledge and experience to be redeveloped. The tools that we discuss can also assist you to collect and develop that knowledge base so that your organisation is not so much at risk.

We also go through some of our real life case studies that include document tracking, equipment maintenance, physical asset tracking and stock tracking. We look at the type of application software that is needed to back up the asset tracking and discuss how we have integrated that software into our Liferay application.

View Course Details On-Line Service Desk Toolkit

Every business has customers and those customers phone in or email to ask questions.

Do you have a system for handling the customer service desk so you can respond efficiently to customer contact?

Using our On-Line Service Desk Toolkit, we show how you can easily establish and operate a service/help desk to assist your clientbase.

View Course Details Member On-Line Toolkit

How many organisations have members and memberships which need management? How many organisations want one or two way communication with those members? Everyone!

Simple examples are an organisation's shareholder base, its customer base, its supplier list, a school/university's alumni member base. There are many more.

Your membership base probably slowly changes over time and you will want and need to communicate with your members. Some communication is regulatory, eg, legal obligations of communication to shareholders. Some communication is commercial or informative, eg, you want to send out offers or product information to customers. You might want those members to respond to offers, questions or surveys, or just to use on-line forms for administrative changes, eg, change of address, etc.

In this course, we show how an organisation can use our Member On-Line Toolkit to build a Liferay application to deliver all these requirements electronically over the internet, and how to add more functions too if you want. And, being Liferay based, it will be easy to integrate into the rest of your organisation's operations.
