MyOffice24x7 is hosting the Australian Liferay User Group. The Liferay User Group is non-commercial, non-profit and open to anyone interested in Liferay. MyOffice24x7 is hosting it to encourage the use of Liferay in Australia.
The annual schedule for the Australian Liferay User Group is to meet on the 3rd Friday of each Month from February to November inclusive. We meet in Brighton, one of the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Kick off is at 4pm. We meet at one of the many cafes there, so coffee, tea, drinks and nibbles will be available for purchase from our hosts. We would normally expect to finish about 6pm or so.

So that we don’t get caught short about space requirements, we would appreciate an email to let us know that you’re coming. Please use the
contact form. We can also let you know which particular café we’ll be meeting in. It will probably be the ‘Deck Bar Restaurant’ on 212 Bay Street, North Brighton.
The format is to have a general discussion topic supported by a few 10-15 minute talks/presentations by the attendees.
Each presentation should ideally have something to do with the chosen Liferay topic preferably, but we won’t be too picky. Ultimately, the ALUG is about Liferay in Australia, so anything related is welcome. We've nominated a couple of future topics, but we invite suggestions from interested parties about any topics for future meetings.
If you're interested in making a presentation, send us an email with the details so we can publicise it in advance on this page. Bring your laptop or a memory stick; we’ll have a projector and a laptop as well.
If the author agrees, we will make that presentation available through this User Group’s web pages for general download as a service to the Liferay community.
MyOffice24x7 welcomes feedback, support, encouragement and assistance in all aspects of the Australian Liferay User Group. We really want it to work for the whole Liferay community and invite others to participate in every aspect of this User Group. Together, let’s make Liferay the star that it is.
