Product Overview

The MySearch Portlet enhances the Liferay Portal's search capabilities by allowing to users to perform more precisely targeted searches across multiple communities and multiple content types. The scope of results returned by the MySearch Portlet can be restricted by excluding various content types, as well as by excluding specific communities. Additionally the content of the search results may be customised though portlet configuration and cascading style sheets.

• Searches performed across all communities, with configurable exclusions.

• Results may optionally be restricted to certain content types (Web Content, Documents, Forums, Wikis and more).
• Each search result, when clicked, directs user to page on which the content is displayed (if available), rather then opening in-place.
